Yachts Meet Zen on the Riviera

The French Riviera has seen a new kind of luxury arrive on its shores: Alo's wellness-focused lifestyle. The activewear and wellness brand, founded in 2007, brought its unique blend of high-fashion and mindful living to Saint-Tropez and Cannes with the launch of two new boutiques in May 2026.

But that was just the start. Alo celebrated its European expansion with a seaside activation at the Hôtel Martinez Pier in Cannes and a private yacht experience aboard the Alo Voyage: Wellness Club at Sea. The brand's wellness takeover kicked off on May 12, transforming the iconic pier into a fitness haven. This seasonal space will continue to operate until June 14, coinciding with the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix.

The transformation of the Hôtel Martinez Pier was nothing short of impressive. Custom sunbeds and fresh juice menus were just the beginning. The addition of sound bowl healing activities, beach yoga and Pilates classes in partnership with Pike Studio took the pier to a whole new level. It's not hard to imagine the sounds of crashing waves and chirping seagulls mingling with the soothing hum of sound bowls.

But Alo didn't stop there. In-store experiences at its newest locations in Cannes and Saint-Tropez were designed to be just as unique. Visitors could expect to find sound bowl healing, psychic readings, ear seeding, and journal customization – all under one roof. It's a wonder anyone got any work done with these kinds of distractions.

Of course, the real highlight of Alo's European wellness takeover was the yacht-based activities aboard the Alo Voyage: Wellness Club at Sea. This by-invitation-only experience promised to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for those who were lucky enough to snag an invite. And what did they get? Elite wellness offerings like EMS training, Pilates and personal training – all against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.

And that wasn't all. Guests could also access recovery services like IV therapy, lymphatic drainage massage, and chiropractic care while on board. It's a wonder anyone felt the need to leave the yacht at all.

Alo's journey began in 2007 with a focus on performance-led clothing for movement and recovery. Over the years, the brand has built a large fitness community and redefined wellness experiences by adding a touch of luxury to them. And now, it seems that same blend of high-fashion and mindful living is bringing people together along the French Riviera.

When the Hôtel Martinez Pier closed its doors for the season, Alo's yacht sailed off into the sunset – or rather, towards the Monaco Grand Prix in June. The brand's European wellness takeover may be coming to an end, but it will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on those who experienced it. And who knows? Maybe next year they'll be back, bringing their unique blend of wellness and luxury to the French Riviera once again.
